Description
Introducing the newest innovation in indoor cycling: Virtual Oval Chainrings. By using TrueForce Technology’s advanced robotics and smart algorithms that adjust resistance 1,000 times per second, we can now accurately simulate the pedaling experience of oval chainrings. Popularized by Tour de France winners Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins, oval chainrings improve the power transfer to the pedals. The oval shape is designed to enhance the pedal stroke, making the cycling motion smoother and more efficient. This feature allows you to determine which brand of oval chainrings suits you best, or if you already ride with oval chainrings on the road, replicate the experience and sensation indoors to get the most out of your training. You can choose between two virtual chainrings from Rotor or Osymmetric, or you can customize your own optimum chainring position.
This feature is only available for TrueBike and TrueBike Base with an active software upgrade package. For the TrueBike Base, you need to plug in an external display to use oval chainrings.
